Women in Law Interview: Meron Tadesse

This month we chat with Meron Tadesse who is a Tax and Business attorney based in Atlanta, Georgia. Meron holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the Georgia State University, as well as a Joint Degree from the John Marshall Law School in Atlanta.  After passing the bar, she decided to follow her entrepreneurial spirit and open her own law practice. This month we chat to phenomenal woman in law, Tshepiso Scott, who is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa and holds an LLB and LLM from the University of Pretoria. She is the co-founder and managing director of TumboScott, an all black female owned company that provides high quality legal services to companies and individuals, and prides itself in making their services available to the “missing middle” i.e. Small Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs). Tshepiso practiced as a corporate associate at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr and has experience in competition law, corporate and commercial law, constitutional law, public interest litigation and dispute resolution. Women in Law Interview: Munozovepi Gwato

Munozovepi Gwata holds a BA(Law) degree and is currently an LLB (Hons) student who continuously uses innovative methods to change the game for development in Africa. Her keen interest lies in the financial markets and she started trading at the age of 17. In pursuit of gaining more knowledge about the financial industry, she has initiated the journey towards getting her Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification. Her interest in the financial markets is what led her to start Kukura Capital. Kukura Capital is a platform that Munozovepi started with the aim of making financial education easy and accessible. It's always wonderful meeting people in your chosen field, people you can learn from. Seeing young women anywhere in the world, succeeding in an ever increasing number of roles helps inspire other young women to raise their expectations for their own futures.
